WORD MAGAZINE "1. Beach Boys: If I hear anything more about the groundbreakingness of Pet bloody Sounds, I'll go postal: clever production, saccharine harmonies and mediocre songwriting doth not genius make - not even when seasoned with a little mental instability."

My initial impression that Word magazine was not worth buying/reading has now been confirmed.

Barry WommSorry, but this is the daftest thing I've read today. You're claiming that a magazine isn't worth reading because of an opinion offered on its website by one of its readers? What happened to being subjective?

DJ MSo "Poacher Jake" isn't affiliated w/ Word, he's just some random dude who posted to their website? If so, then Word gets a pass. The underlying reason why I dislike the mag is that I did actually buy a copy and it was not very good. As I've never gone on Word's website I didn't realize that they allow readers to post there. You learn something new everyday.
